On this Day... On this day of the 26th of November, Tiy doth proclaim the date in which Starbound will release a Beta. And that day is... DECEMBER 4th!

Thats right, Beta is 1 week away. Whose pumped? Anyone? Just me? Maybe Sips' dad? ok.

So as you may know, there will be a multiplayer server running for everyone to play on who wants to. The info will be made avalible when the beta is out but when it is, look here for the specifics.

Now, who has this pre ordered or will be getting it for beta's launch and will be joining us?

The time is here guys and gals! Time to get ready for the Starbound Beta!

They have released the format beta will move, there will be 3 main beta phases, and it looks like it is gonna be a great ride.

We will have a server running for all of the beta. There may be updates that cause fresh starts to be nessicary, keep that in mind for Phase 1. Phase 2 will be more stable and not require restarts.

Its been a while since any major Starbound updates, but today they showed off the In Progress Grapple Hook that has been being worked on in the shadows.

I for one get flashbacks of Worms and i can not be happyer.

Also the fact that they factored in elasticity in and put a mechanic to be able t slingshot yourself, GENIUS!

As I'm sure you've all noticed, there's been some frequent, and obnoxious downtimes for the Ventrilo server recently. It most certainly hasn't gone unnoticed, and I've been working with our provider to find a fix for the issue.

The cause of all the outages has been DDoS (childish hacker(s)) targetting a different server at the same physical location of ours.

I was talking to our provider about moving the location of our server to get us away from the problem, but they've come up with another solution: "We apologize for the problems and want to get this resolved now and will be moving that customer [the target of the DDoS] to their own IP so it stops effecting our other customers."

I'm really sorry for all the downtimes, and I want to let everyone who uses the server know that I'm well aware of this problem, and going to get a fix as soon as possible, even if it means switching server locations or providers.

GamerApoc will be on the Behemoth Server for Early Access and Launch of Final Fantasy XIV:A Realm Reborn. Everyone who will be joining us needs to make sure they pick the "Behemoth Server". If you are unable to join the server, you might have to wait a bit and try again. During Phase 4 Open Beta servers had to be cycled to lower stress from logins.

Early Access starts on Saturday August 24th at 2am PST which is 4am CST and 5am EST.
